🐾 The Story of Harbour Tails: A Timeline
At Harbour Tails, we believe every dog deserves love, adventure, and to be understood. Here's a little peek into how it all began and how we've grown over the years!
🐶 2015 – It All Started with a Walk
When our founder, Dani Collings, moved to Hamworthy, Poole, she began volunteering to walk dogs for local families. Back then, it wasn’t about starting a business – just a way to help out and enjoy time with some four-legged friends. But it didn’t take long for word to spread and tails to start wagging!
🐾 2019 – Harbour Tails is Born
After a few years of helping out in the community, Dani decided to take the leap and officially launch Harbour Tails. Backed by qualifications in dog walking, first aid and training, the business was built on trust, safety, and lots of love for dogs.
🚐 2020 – Safety First (and Always)
To keep pups safe and owners at ease, Dani added live GPS tracking to every walk, so you can see where your dog is in real time. We also started using an unmarked van to transport dogs, keeping things discreet and secure.
🐕 2021 – Expanding
We started offering more services and hosted a few charity walks, helping raise money for local causes – and giving dogs a fun day out with their pals!
🌟 2022 – Loved by Dogs (and Their Humans!)
By now, Harbour Tails had built a lovely little community of happy dogs and grateful owners. With five-star reviews rolling in and pups racing to the door when we arrive, it was clear we were doing something right.
📚 2023 – Always Learning, Always Improving
Dani continued her professional development over the next several years, staying up to date with the latest in modern dog training and behaviour with the help of reputable dog training organisations.
🎉 2025 – 10 Years of Tail Wags
This year marks 10 amazing years since Dani first started walking dogs around Poole and the year we added dog training to our services. What started as a spare time hobby has grown into a trusted, friendly service that dogs and their humans rely on every day.
